A Misson to Metallic
Hi, my name is PA and the class I'm making this Action Project for is called Stories. We had one Field Experience and that was having a man come in to talk to us about telling a good story. He said he is a Comedian, Story teller, and hosts a radio show. I thought it was very interesting and cool to have him come in but I don't think it was much help. He had a lot to say and saw that he had talent. For this Action Project we each had to write a story and draw or make a picture of what our place looked like. I made a collage with different colors of paper because I thought drawing a picture is too easy and won't take time to do. I wrote about a new planet that the humans found because their planet was destroyed. Im not going to spoil it all but thats the summary. We had to use many adjectives and adverbs. we also had to use many metaphors and similes. It was hard to get those in but I did it. Here my Action Project is.
For some reason I found this project very difficult. I just had a lot of trouble getting everything I needed like adverbs and metaphors. Creating my image took a very long time as well but it was fun. Even thought this was hard I really enjoyed doing this Action Project. Making a story is exciting because you could do anything you want, you have the power to make a new world. I was very inspired by the movie "Alien" because I enjoyed those movies and wanted to do something like that.
The earth was dark and hurt. Bodies all over like ants on sugar. Disaster was everywhere. 5 years ago; a war happened against the west and east republic , and they created a mess that can't be fixed. The world was in terror; the people needed hope. Food was harder to find than a needle in a haystack. Water was even harder. Half of the world population died faster than the speed of the speed of light. Hope was lost; the end has come.
One man grew in this time, his name was Owen. He studied ships and space because he knew he would make a difference when he grew up. Owen built the first spaceship that could stay in space for a lifetime. People lived in space for a while until food started being more rare by the second. He built a ship that could hold up to 500,000 people and named it the Alpha. The ship was as big as Pluto. He took people to a planet that he discovered named Metallic. It was the most beautiful planet that was ever laid eyes on by a human. It was more beautiful than the sun on a 90 degree day. It was white with silver dots on it and has a ring like Jupiter that was black with silver stripes. It glowed like a firefly at night. Owen and the Alpha landed there but there was a problem, They used the ephalies which was a device that detects life and saw that there was moving creatures on the planet. Owen and his crew decided to land, and they did.
When they landed the world looked like theirs. It was dark and had a depressing vibe. When seeing the planet from the sky its a whole different view. Owen picked up the microphone and yelled “10 people most come with me to see if this is a livable planet for us. Hundreds raised their hands,but 10 were picked. The 10 people and Owen put there Nike fleece astro suits on and slipped on expensive Nike boots. The 11 people got off the Alpha and into these car like vehicles to look around. They were about a mile away from the ship when suddenly, they smelled something. “What's that smell”, the people look around and saw a massive creature bigger than any animals on earth. It had claws as big as an elephant tusk, eyes bigger than basketballs, teeth sharper than a knife. They were the size of air planes. The creators were eating a humongous dog looking animal. Owen and his crew walked close. Everyone's heart beats were faster and faster getting closer. There were two creators and babies. Owen put a weirdly looking glove on and a bright blue light came out he shot 4 times with it and killed all of the creators and babies. He yelled, “This is our land”. The 10 others were frightened by how much power he had. He told his group to search for water and food while he searches for more creatures. The group walked shaking not knowing how to use the guns that they were given. They walked about a mile until they found water, a wife and husband took a sip of it. A lady named Zo saw something move in the water. She yelled “ look out!”. A snake like creature that was longer than a whale pulled them both in the water and the blue water was now a dark red. The 8 left got on there vehicles and rode for another mile trying to get away from the snake. They bumped into a fruit like food and one of the people tried it. He said it tasted like an apple so the group started collecting some. They put it in bags and went to the alpha.
While they were doing that Owen was trying to find creatures to hunt. He saw one from the distance and sped up. “Zoooooom” he activated his glove. All of a sudden a baby creator bit his arm, “ahhhhhhh”. The creatures started running towards him but then a made in a hood threw a can and fog came out. All the creatures left. He put owen on his speeder and left. Owen was wounded badly, His arm was hurt. He screamed louder than a anything you’ve ever heard. Owen and the mysterious man arrived at his tent. They went inside, Owen said it smelled worse than a rotten egg. The man put a light green substance on his arm then he was knocked out. When Owen woke up he started asking question after question. He asked the man, “Where are we, what is this place?”. The man said “This is Metallic, a place that was made a couple centuries ago”. The man said that “a huge astro the shape of an egg and was bigger than the east which was Asia crashed into another astro and the two collided. Then over time rocks started to hit and collided with the astro and created a planet bigger than your solar system. The ring around it was made by the aliens that live here now. They won’t bother you if you don't mess with them. There is plenty of food and water for everything on this planet”. Owen new this was a good planet and went to the alpha and told the ship the news.
